Advertise Your Job Opening

Hiring? Seek a Certified Economic Developer (CEcD)

Economic development organizations need professionals who possess the expertise to combat new challenges that emerge in a constantly changing industry. The CEcD designation represents demonstrated competency in economic development with a high degree of knowledge, significant skills and considerable practical experience in the field. In addition, because active CEcDs are required to maintain their designation through recertification activities, employers can be assured that the CEcDs they hire will be well-connected and well-informed of innovative strategies and industry trends. Select your next employee from among the best candidates – add “CEcD preferred” to your next job posting!

By advertising a job opening through IEDC, your search for a candidate is sure to reach thousands of professionals who have dedicated their lives to economic development. You can advertise your job opening in one simple step, while combining three effective means of distribution:

  • Economic Development Now - Distributed on the first and third Monday of every month*, our member e-newsletter reaches over 4500 of the top economic developers in the country

  • IEDC News (formerly One Source) - Distributed on the Mondays when EDNow is not, this blast email reaches both members and non-member subscribers, a total of more than 20,000 individuals

  • Online Listings - Updated each Monday

Once your ad is submitted, it will appear on our website for one month and in four consecutive issues of the aforementioned electronic publications.
